I'd like to go to Denmark, Norway and Sweden but I'll be traveling alone. I'd ideally like a guided tour of sorts...and a place where I can have my own room. I'm looking for about 14 days or so...any ideas? Thanks in advance!!!
Any recs for Scandinavia tours for solo female traveler?

Not cheap but very friendly to single travelers. When considering costs, note that airfare is not included. To get a good idea of what a trip is like, read some of the entries on his scrapbook page.http://tours.ricksteves.com/tours10/scr09_archive.cfm
I like the Insight Vacations tours over most others, including Rick Steves. Here is their site: http://www.insightvacations.com/us/
They have a couple Scandinavia tours: Grand Tour of Scandinavia http://www.insightvacations.com/us/index.php?brochure_id=2715199®ion_tour_id=2267729
and
Spectacular Scandinavia and its Fjords http://www.insightvacations.com/us/index.php?brochure_id=2715199®ion_tour_id=2268354
Insight is a sister company to Trafalgar, but is a bit more upscale, and its hotels are usally centrally located.
Hi; If you use Insight Tours, check out these sites, as they dicouunt Insight Tours 10% Richard www.afordabletours.com or www.pavlustravel.com
Hi,
I did the Insight Spectacular Scandinavia and its Fjords a year or so ago. It was really good. There were several singles on the trip and they all seemed to fit in with the couples etc. There was a good mix of country and city and, although the weather did not always cooperate (we were snowed in at Geiranger Fjord and had to put the coach on a ferry and go further down the fjord to continue) I loved it. The coach was the most comfortable I have been in and the tour manager really went the extra mile to give us a good time.

Wow thank you so much everybody!!! This is fantastic - just what I was looking for! I really appreciate all your responses...will explore all these options and let you know which one I choose. Thank you again!
Have you went on trip yet? I am also looking to go there - also want a tour company - but hate paying single supplements. I have always went with a company that does a match - and have met wonderful people. Is this something you would be interested in?
