Any recommendations for a B&B in Florence?

Hi,

Can anyone recommend a nice B&B or small hotel near the Duomo in Florence? My two nieces are visitng their sister who's attending school in Florence and I'm trying to find them a place to stay for 6 nights. Thanks in advance.

Paul

I've stayed at Alloro B&B which is between the train station and the Duomo. What is their budget?

Hi pj,

This B&B is in a residential neighborhood about a 7 min walk from the train station. Several buses stop right in front.

They don't serve bkfst, but there is a very nice cafe next door.

We spent 11 nights there.

Lovely people, clean, has AC.

www.booking.com many good options for you with recent honest reviews Residenza Dell Orato for me last under 100 euro/nt
beware all the BB touts and spammer scammers here there
and all the fake reviews rankings on Tripadvertizer.

We stayed at Hotel Johlea for 90 euros per night. Has the feel of a B&B and breakfast is included and it was quite good. Room was quiet and overlooked a courtyard. Owners run two adjacent hotels and each room is different-lots of nooks and crannies. Our experience with NuovaItalia Hotel was not good. The windows were not glazed and noise from the San Lorenzo Market was terrible. Had flies in the room also (swatter was included). Would never stay there again. HJ is located on Via Gallo.

We stayed at b&b NinnaNanna a few years ago. Very clean, friendly place, run by a middle aged woman and her son. It's a few blocks north of the Duomo in a safe quiet area. There is a small back yard for relaxing, and a very simple breakfast is included.
