any negatives/drawbacks visiting paris first week May

Hello,

Any thoughts regarding possible visit to Paris first week in June this year. I haven't looked at renting yet. I have a lot of reading/researching to do. Is there anything I should be aware of or wary of visiting at this time? Thanks for any feedback.

Not aware of any holidays then - but it's late enough in the year to be crowded - esp with college students. Early Many (after Labor Day_ is less crowded and might get you better hotel rates.

The French Open runs May 23 - June 6 this year so there will be increased demand for hotel rooms, and hotels/apartment near the Roland Garros venue may have higher rates at that period, but Paris is large enough that you should be able to book something without problems.
