My First Trip to Provence and Paris...Loved!!!

it's a great hotel!! My wife and i spent three nights here (rented an apartment) for the bargain price of 90 Euro/night in Dec 2004. the hotel is family run and very gracious/helpful. they also have free internet access in the lobby (behind the tiny reception counter) and offer free use of their washer/dryer.
the apartments are really spacious and clean and the hotel is really close to a chain grocery market (called the "COOP") where you can shop alongside the locals to bring fresh food home to prepare breakfast/dinner meals...the chocolates, breads, meats, veggies, and wine are the freshest we've had and save you quite a bit of money along the way.
highly recommend the borgo grondaie as your base to explore the tuscan countryside...close enough to the highway to allow you to drive all over the chianti region and really get a feel for the surrounding area.
