Antwerp Tram

I plan to use the Antwerp Tram network while visiting the city. I have found the tram map and wonder if there is a website that provides information on which tram # and stops for the most popular attractions in the city.

Thanks in advance for your help!

I looked up the attractions on google maps. There are three options: by car, by public transportation, and on foot.

The public transportation option is the tram, and it gives you "next tram" and timing options. It was good enough for me.

We were in Antwerp a few weeks ago and found absolutely no need to take the tram anywhere. It's not that big a city. You can walk everywhere. At least we did.

Sorry, can't help; I don't take the metro or tram in Antwerp. It so easy to walk everywere.

www.delijn.be is the site for local public transport - comes in English too.

Thanks! You gave me the encouragement to create my own personalized tour with google walking directions from site to site. It will end with a tour of the De Koninck Brewery! Sounds like a good plan to me.

Sounds good - enjoy a 'bolleke' de Koninck!

The area around the MAS has also become really nice, lots of restaurants and bars. When will you be there?

We start our travels in Belgium on September 7. I expect to be in Antwerp sometime between September 20 - 24. Are there any festivals during the month of September that we should try to arrange our travels around?

Dieting now so I can binge on chocolate, waffles, frites, mussels and beer/cider. Looking forward, too, for a pot of shrimp in Zeebruges.

No festivals in September that I know of.
I see there's something on at De Roma - lovely venue in Borgerhout, definitely off the beaten path! The Jayhawks on Sept 20 and a classical concert on the 23rd, Tsjaikowski.
