Another Scotland question - Angus Glens

Jump to last reply

We have found a Jacobite ancestor who was deported to the Colonies in 1716. Fun, right? For us - not for him, poor man - but he was a tough one, fortunately for me and all his descendants. :)

This young man was from Eassie in Angus, hence the desire to explore this area a bit. I know Eassie is not actually in the Glens, but they look gorgeous.

Now the problem. Has anyone visited the Angus Glens and, if so, which did you prefer? Too many to choose from and too little time is the problem, although we will have a full day to explore the Glen(s). Another day for Eassie and Glamis Castle.

I kind of think we can't lose whichever we choose, but would like some opinions.
