Another choice questions - Venice and Naples - where to stay?

Jump to last reply

Naples - 2/3 Nights - Hotel Piazza Bellini or Il Convento. I am leaning towards Piazza Bellini - coming in after a long haul; proximity to MAN; rave reviews. My guess is that Il Convento surrounds might be a bit noisier. Any thoughts? Of course Piazza is some 20% costlier.

Venice - 2 nights - Pensione Accademia Maravege (booked)/ Hotel Campiello / or should I look in Canneregio (Hotel Arcadia) or Castello. My hiusband who has been there before (I haven't) thinks one night and a full day is sufficient. I think a location more central to the main sights is better but to be honest, I really don't know!

Any advice, please?
