Annual Poll: Your Top Ten Favorite European Cities!
If asked to rank what you top ten European cities are what would they be - rank them in order from one to ten and then we will tally up points by inverting the rankings - 10 points for you top city; 9 for your #2, etc.
I'll start:
1- Amsterdam
2- London
3 - Paris
4- Berlin
5 - Rome
6- Florence
7 - Venice
8- Bruges
9- Barcelona
10 -Prague
ET TU?

I agree with Bob. I don’t know why everybody is so obsessed with cities. The more that I visit, the more I am starting to want to avoid them. I realize that cities are usually the transportation, cultural & culinary hub of a country but more & more I find that my tolerance level for the traffic, crowds & noise of a city is diminishing. And the sites & museums of most major centers are so over-crowded during the prime tourist times of the year that they have zero charm & increasingly less & less appeal for me. Maybe I am just getting old & grouchy but I am starting to prefer the tiny villages & the remote places more.
Anyway . . .
Paris
Ravello
Sevilla
Vienna
Granada
Siracusa
Edinburgh
Sopron
Todi
Modica
These are the places that I would return to.
