Andalusia March 2 - March 11 Barcelona to Lisbon
Hi all, My wife and I are flying into Barcelona March 2, planning to stay 3 nights. Fly to Granada. Fly to Seville. Rent a car drive to Cadiz and continue to Lisbon for night and depart. OrmMaybe drive from Granada through Malaga, Marbella, Algeciras, Cadiz, then Sevilla. Fly to Lisbon, depart on March 11. Catch a Barca game on 3/5 in Barcelona. First time here for both of us. Any feedback would be helpful. Thanks!!! Bert and Deborah

You need to go over your itinerary one more time, it doesn’t work out. Going by the dates you mention and what you plan on doing, you have a half day in Seville, a few hours in Lisbon, no time in Málaga or Ronda or anywhere between Granada and Cadiz - just too much planned for too little time.
Lisbon alone merits a week! Save it for another time.
That gives you a chance to add a few hours here and there - it’s still more territory than I would want to cover in those few days you have, but still...
Here’s what it looks like, with all its flaws.
March 2 arr BCN
March 3 BCN sleep BCN
March 4 BCN sleep BCN
March 5 Barça (FC Barcelona) match
March 6 early flight to Granada, arrive midday, find hotel + lunch, explore Granada during the hours that are left (after siesta).
March 7 morning appointment Alhambra, afternoon drive to Cadiz (about 4 hour without stops).
March 8 explore Cadiz
March 9 drive to Seville, explore Seville
March 10 fly to Lisbon
March 11 fly out of Lisbon

So… 3 nights (2 days) in Barcelona – which can easily merit 4 or 5 full days – and then flying (? Why not train?) to Granada (I hope you plan on at least 2 nights there, if not 3) and then flying (? Again, why not a train?) to Seville, skipping Cordoba – one of the highlights of the WORLD (not just Spain), and then going on to places that are, in comparison, completely missable….
Sorry, I don’t understand….

We did 8 days in Andalusia for Thanksgiving - and based on the smart folks on this forum limited our itinerary - 4 nights Sevilla, 2 nights Granada (this was tight but I had to see the Alhambra and it was worth it) and then 2 nights/3 full days in Madrid. That itinerary was probably too full but still amazing. I could've spent a month in Sevilla just for the side trips - Cordoba, Malaga, Cadiz, Morocco, Ronda, the Algarve... I wanted to see Lisbon as well but I think you will be happier if you give Sevilla and Granada more time and leave Lisbon for another trip - I feel like that would be worth it's own week!
