Ancient sites near Loutraki, Kalo Nero
I will be in the Peleponnese for five days for a trip that will include Loutraki, Kalo Nero and Lemeni. (My friends are renewing their vows in Lemeni.) What are the ancient sites that I can easily access from these areas? I think that Olympia may be too far.

Lemeni or Limeni?
You might consider Messene, although like Olympia, I believe its about an hour from Kalo Nero.
I believe Mycenae and Epidaurus are each within an hour of Loutraki, and of course, ancient Corinth and Acrocorinth are near Loutraki....
If you don't already have it, I would strongly recommend either the Rough Guide or the Michelin Green Guide.

From Loutraki you can access Heraion and the old lighthouse , that would make a nice day trip along with the lake of Vouliagmeni and the Monastery of Agios Patapios for the amazing view over the Canal of Corinth and the Peloponnese .
Ancient Corinth and Akrocorinth are just around the corner, you can also reach Epidaurus, which is the farther i would go.
The route of Proastikos ( Suburban Railway) has recently changed.
If you take the train from Korinthos you will have to change to another train to the Airport at SKA in Aharnes.

The service is reliable.
