Can somebody comment this hotel supposed to be a great place (a bit isolated though)?
Do you know of any similar hotels on Cyprus island, i.e. local style building and great location?

I haven't been (couldn't afford it) but it has had pretty good reviews. I have however stayed near where it is.
It's near a "village"- actually a small tourist strip with a fishing harbour called Latchi- which has some little shops and a row of very good fish tavernas. It's about 6 miles further from Polis; a much larger town with a proper array of shops and banks and a few more tavernas. It is about 40 miles over the hill from Paphos.
There are nice beaches; not as crowded as those at the main tourist destinations; and it is close to the Akamas National park, which is very undeveloped (my idea of a good time).
There are some good big hotels (if you like that sort of thing) in Paphos, Limassol and Ayia Napa, and some smaller, but to my mind classier joints up in the mountains near Troodos.
There are a number of villages, especially those in the Laona Project which have nice but basic village inns, at least a couple of which have pools.
But I think the Anassa is a one off. Incidentally, the building style may be local if you are in Santorini, but you will see nothing like the Anassa in Cyprus.
