An American Solo in Paris - My itinerary (Help)

Jump to last reply

Hello hello! First time in Paris and I have my itinerary set. I'm staying in the 15th just a couple of blocks from the 7th, and I want to run it by the "experts" to see if my plans look okay, if I'm trying to pack too much in, or have space to add some others. Thanks in advance. Some events (as indicated) are non-negotiable ("NN"), and also, keep in mind that many landmarks are closed 12/31 and 1/1. Thanks!

Thursday arrive around 8:30 a.m. Plan on dropping bags and visiting (in this order) Rue Cler, Tuleries, Montmarte/Sacre Coeur, Pere Lachaise, and then home (Maybeeee dinner at a little spot near Pere, but if you have suggestions, please help me fill them in)

Friday - Louvre and ballet at night (ballet is NN)

Saturday - Normandy (NN)

Sunday - Mass in the morning at Notre Dame, followed by some time there to see everything about it. Then St. Chapelle. Orangerie, Orsay and Rodin museums. Eiffel stop at 7:30 p.m. (NN)

Monday: Arc, Champs Elysees, ________ . Dinner that night at 7:30 is NN.

Tuesday (12/31) - Latin quarter stroll in the morning, Hammam visit for 3 hours (yeehaw), and NYE dinner (NN). Probably will head back to Champs for nighttime revelry and general debauchery (:-)

Wednesday (1/1) - Luxembourg Gardens and maybe generally being French, but if I'm missing something, please let me know??

Thursday - Versailles (I think this is pretty NN, but open to suggestions)

Friday - Shopping and just being "French"

Okay, GO! :-)
