Amsterdam hotel and Rijksmuseum...

Jump to last reply

In planning for a trip next June, I'm considering spending the last night in Amsterdam before a 3:00pm departure from Schiphol. If I arrive by 11am the day before, I would take bag to hotel and then head to the Rijksmuseum until closing time. To save time getting to hotel, etc, I'm considering the Ibis near Centraal station. Could then take tram or even walk. Does this make sense? I've been to Amsterdam before, so I don't plan to see anything else, unless I happen to walk past something interesting. I guess I'd have a couple hours the next morning but would opt for leisurely breakfast and/or a walk. Any thoughts? Thx!
