Amsterdam Berlin Bus companies BestBusTravel
Hello, has anyone heard of BestBusTravel??? They claim to offer cheap bus tickets from Amsterdam to Berlin. Which other Bus companies go from Amsterdam to Berlin and back????,,,,,,,,thanks!

Trains run daily every 2 hrs from 7am until 7pm and there are several low cost flights daily too whereas best bus runs only twice weekly.
But I agree than bestbus is about 20 EUR cheaper than the cheapest flight.

You can avoid the nightmare of long-distance bus travel just by booking a cheap ticket in advance for the excellent two-hourly Amsterdam-Berlin InterCity trains.
At www.bahn.de/en (German Railways) you can book from Amsterdam Centraal to Berlin Hbf from as little as 39 euros, and print your own ticket.

Yeah and 20 Euros cheaper per person when you have a family of 5 makes a huge difference! I think I just try BestBusTravel for my bus trip from Amsterdam to Berlin! Worst case scenarion I sue them!!!!!!!!!!!1

I traveled with BestBusTravel from Berlin to Amsterdam yesterday and it was a really nice trip. The drivers handed out free bottled water and were very talkative with the passengers. They also helped us with directions to hotels in Amsterdam. I recommend BestBusTravel and they are also very cheap.

My experience with Best Bus Travel:
I booked a roundtrip Apeldoorn (NL) - Berlin Leaving July 29th returning Aug. 7th and paid 78 euros. July 26th I got this message :
" Dear BestBusTravel customer, The trip between The Netherlands and Berlin on Tuesday July 29 has been suspended. We can freely book you on our next trip Thursday July 31 instead. To compensate for the inconvenience we also offer you two extra free tickets for our trip on Thursday July 31st, so you can bring two friends for free."
I was not happy with the change, but decided to go with it. Their next message :
"Also, be aware that there is no bus terminal at the Apeldoorn pick up location so please make sure to verify the address from the Apeldoorn address on our website."
Their website is not very clear about it so I wrote them to inform me about the exact location. Their reply:
" We have experienced problems with passengers getting on the bus in Apeldoorn. They either can not find the location and sometimes the drivers pass Apeldoorn because there are hardly ever passengers getting on the bus in Apeldoorn. To avid taking this risk, please book a train from Apeldoorn to Berlin for tomorrow (I gues via Amersfoort) and email us the scanned receipt plus your account number so we can reimburse you immediately."
On the internet I found messages of people complaining about not getting their money back from Best Bus Travel, so I did not trust this. I urged them to call me which they finally did. I spoke to Reinier who sounded friendly and told me I really would get my trainticket money back. However I didnt trust it anymore I said I rather had my money back. Which actually they transferred directly after. I decided to go to Berlin via a rideshare website which worked perfect.
Then I got this message:
"Mocht je 7 Augustus alsnog met ons willen terugreizen dan bieden we je dat graag gratis aan."Translated " If you want to return with us August 7th we want to offer you this for free"
So I said yes I will go with you. 17:15 the bus was supposed to leave, we waited and waited but no bus showed up. Passengers had to find other transportation and accommodation for the night . So you probably can guess how I feel about this organization.

Hey, guys! Before hearing my story as to how BestBusTravel defrauded me, please join my Facebook page that I created to spread awareness of their fraudulence. The situation starts regarding a holiday that my girlfriend and I planned in Amsterdam from 25th-29th July 2014. I had initially booked with BestBusTravel to leave Amsterdam on the Tuesday 29th July 2014, however, that service was suddenly cancelled prior to the 29th in which BusBusTravel sent a peculiar email (as I have forwarded you) offering us 'two extra free tickets' for two friends on the 31st July and asked whether we wanted to be put on the 'passenger list' for the 31st; this is obviously fraudulent, of course we wanted to be put on the coach that we paid for with our money, it's not an option, it is their legal obligation by contract law.
My girlfriend and I were desperate as we had little money to book another coach and so we confirmed that we wanted to be put on this 'passenger list' for the 31st July; this resulted in my girlfriend and I sleeping on the streets as we did not have money to spare on a hostel or hotel. Disillusioned with the events on Tuesday 29th July, I emailed BestBusTravel on July 30th (as I have forwarded you) to confirm that the coach was still coming tomorrow, and shockingly, they nonchalantly replied:
'Dear Patrick, Thank you for your email. There is no bus on Thursday. Please book your trip with another bus company or even a train.'
I responded reasonably and demanded a refund ASAP the very same day, however, these emails have not been responded to. Pursuant to trying to contact them by email I tried to contact them on their Facebook page, however, BestBusTravel have since removed my posts and have blocked me from posting on their page; this is the same treatment that others in the same situation as my own have experience too.

To conclude, DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY!!!
