American Gifts in Germany and/or UK

Jump to last reply

I will be going to Germany, Amsterdam, and the UK.

In places where I'll be staying with people I do not know, I've collected post cards from my home town to leave for them with a hand written than you note.

There are two places in the UK and Germany where I will be staying with personal friends. I've of course made gifts for them (I am an artist) however I'd also like to bring them something distinctly American. One thing that my German friend's requested was clothing from Tommy Hilfiger. I'm not sure if this is because it is not available there or if it's just less expensive for me to get here.

I've heard a lot of people suggest peanut butter. However, because of customs, I'd prefer to take non-food items.
