Because of our tight schedule we can't make it to both places.
Which place has the best beaches?
Is it more expensive one or the other place?
Anything else we need to consider?
Thank you!
Amalfi or Vieste?

Amalfi has no beaches at all, and is of course far more expensive. But also far prettier...
Hi Fantasi,
you're talking about two different - beautiful - places
If you want a place for have a beach-vacation, in other terms, a most "nature approch" I suggest you without any dubts Vieste.
And you've to consider that Vieste is not so expensive like Amalfi.
Vito
Vietri is an interesting and charming little town....

However historic Amalfi really should be seen - and, if you've only a few hours, that's the place to go!
