Amalfi Coast tour from Sorrento

Jump to last reply

My wife and I will be in Sorrento in mid-May; and are looking for best options to spend a day touring Amalfi Coast with interests in Positano, Amalfi and Ravello. Have seen some of the private car tour companies that do seem a little pricey for just the two of us although we might choose to do that (unless you might find another couple to share it with). I understand that both bus tours and ferry are also alternatives. Are the bus tours primarily the local SITA buses and/or are there buses that are purely tour related (like maybe stop in these towns and give you an hour to sightsee and then get back on to the next town) or are they all primarily for local travel?? How about the ferry? Do they run frequently between Sorrento, Positano and Amalfi or are they just several times a day? Is there a website that you can find times and rates for buses and for ferries?
