Alt95 or Jules Verne?

Now that trip time is getting close (June 7 to 11th), I know I need to get lunch reservations made pronto. Question - what is the difference between these 2 restaurants? Are they both on the same level of the Eiffel Tower? Is one better/worse than the other? Which is better for a family of 4 (with 2 kids 10 & 7)? Thanks for the help!

They're completely different restaurants. Jules Verne a classy, top notch restaurant. Altitude is cheaper, more casual than Jules Verne - considered more of a brasserie. Chances are you won't get into Jules Verne at this late date but you can try.
For more Paris information e-mail me: [email protected]

You'll probably be happier at Altitude 95 with two children 7 and 10. Alt. 95 is on first level. Jules Verne on 2nd. As Fred says, there is signifcant difference between the two. Unless your children are really, really, really good in restaurants and into gourmet eating, Jules Verne would probably be a mistake for the whole family.

Thank you!! Alt95 does sound like the better choice for antsy kids. I appreciate the feedback!

Our family ate at Alt 95 last year...our kids were ages 7 and 10 also. It was fine...but our kids DO prefer better food, so the childrens menu at Alt 95 was a disappointment. They would have been much happier with our food, LOL! So if your kids are even a tad adventureous...skip the kids menu. We did have reservations...we did it through e-mail but you can also call. With a reservation you can take the elevator up with priority.

Planning on going to Alt 95 for lunch this fall with kids 11 and 15.What type of dress is appropriate? I hate to go too 'dressy' as we will be doing other sightseeing. Thanks

Hi again
Next question - if you have reservations at Alt95, can you skip the Eiffel Tower lines? I'm thinking of lunch reservations - that way we can sightsee other things before getting to the Eiffel Tower. Is this reasonable?
