Alsace and Switzerland

We arrive in Basel Saturday, May 14 at 5:15PM and then depart from Zurich Friday June 10 in the afternoon. We will spend about the first week in the Alsace region hoping for warmer weather. I would like to make a reservation in that area for at least the first 4 or 5 days in one location. Then I am trying to keep the rest flexible so that we can scoot into the Berner Oberland region when the weather is nice which will allow us to do some hiking. I had heard earlier this winter that it had been a mild winter in Switzerland which may make the hiking more pleasant. So, the itinerary below is flexible but the amount of time in each region is probably pretty close to what I am thinking at this time.I would appreciate any advice on places to stay. We will have a car which I think gives us more flexibility as well. We are fairly high energy and love outdoor activities. Daylight hours should be long which will give us a lot of time. Do you think we will be okay leaving our accomodation reservations open except for the first week or so in the Alsace region???

May 15 till May 21 - Alsace region (not sure of location yet. Here are some of what we might do as day trips (Colmar , Fondation Beyeler near Basel,Strasbourg,Kayserberg and Chateau de Haut Koenigbourg, drive a little of the Black Forest, one free day)

May 21, 22,23- drive to Bern or Murten (Any recommendations of which town to stay in???
Our activities will depend on the weather. If it nice then we will do more outdoor activities
Things we might do include:Paul Klee Center, History Museum, visit Murten (bike), Bern walking tour

May 24,25,26 27,28,29 drive to Montreux
Things to do- Gruyers and chocotate tour, Olympic Museum and Collection de l'Art Brut, Chateau du Chillon. day trip to Chamonix, maybe day trip to Annecy, maybe tour of Lavaux)

May 30, 31, June 1, 2,3 drive to Interlaken or Lauterbrunnen (not sure which town. I know there are others with more charm but I had mixed reviews about staying there so early in the summer. People said they would be very quiet)
Things to do- hiking and exploring

June 4,5,6- Lucerne
Things to do, Mt Titlis on the way, Mt Pilatus cog RR,and maybe hike Swiss Path

June 7,8,9 to Appenzell or St Gallen (recommendations of where to stay here). I was not going to include this in our itinerary but put it there now because I have the time.
June 7-Stop in Zurich on the way
June 8 one day to visit St Gallen and Appenzell
June 9 one day to go to Lake Konstanz or Liechenstein (What are your thoughts on this???)
June 10 fly out of Zurich at 2 PM

I will appreciate any feedback
