Off a cruise in Alicante for 1 day (8am-7pm) in June.

Excursion options include:
MOCAJAR & CABO DE GATA
GRANADA (have been before and not very keen on the commute)

Can anyone recommend which of the above would be the most interesting from a historical/architecture/cultural point of view? or just stay in Almeria for the day?... or any other suggestions

cabo de gata is breathtaking. very nice coastal drive through amazing scenery. You can see it on youtube probably to get an idea. Mojacar old town also precious. cute .. sounds like a nice combination. we have always gone to these two places when in the area.

Yes, go to Cabo de Gata and Mojacar. We lived there for many years and still return. It's the least developped part of the coast, what people wish for in a Spanish village.
