I will be traveling in southern Spain November 1st, which is All Saints Day. I understand there will be closures due to the holiday. So I can better plan our trip, is it better to be in a small town, such as Arcos de la Frontera, or in a city, such as Sevilla on such a holiday/
What should I anticipate to be closed - museums, food markets, restaurants, etc. ?
I appreciate any help.

You can check the following regarding the official holidays in the various parts of Spain:
http://www.qppstudio.net/publicholidays2012/spain.htm
As far as what will be closed, banks, government offices, etc. Museums, markets and restaurants should all be open since All Saints Day falls on a Thursday this year.
the Junta de Andalusia has the 1st of Nov down as a public holiday

You will find most things closed, when it comes to tourist sights you should consult the web page for the tourist sight you wish to visit on that day. It could be closed, open with limited hours or open as normal.
