Hi fellow travelers,
I am covering Alhambra (including Nasrid Palaces) through the Day-ticket. However, I am convinced with all the praise of night visit on fodors forum to make it to the same as well.
When I go to ticketmaster.es website to book the tickets, following 2 options are enlisted for night / evening visit:
1. Evening Visit to Gardens and Palace of Generalife
2. Night Visit around the Nasrid Palaces
My queries:
1. As I am covering the Alhambra including Nasrid Palace in day time, which of the two would you recommend?
2. If both are truly magical and worth attending, should I book both, on 2 separate nights? I am in Granada for 3 days.
3. There is a blue circular pass as well. It covers an evening visit to the Nasrid Palaces and a morning visit to the Alcazaba and Generalife Palace and Gardens on the following day. Should I go for that? I am less keen as it would not give me day-access to Nasrid Palaces, but only during the night visit.

When I visited some years ago, the only night tickets were for the Nasrid Palace. I found it utterly magical. And I was very glad that I saw it first during the daylight and then a second time at night.
)
From what I've read, I hope one day to see the gardens at night, too. Since you have 3 days there, doing both might make most sense. (And then you can report back to us
Enjoy!
Thanks Kja. I checked the tickets availability and the tickets for night visit to gardens are sold out for all 3 days I am there
I guess I'd make do with the day visit & night visit to Nasrid Palaces. Would for sure report back!
Hi rtwin - just found this!
i think that the night tours of the gardens are a relatively new thing as lke kja, when we visited, only the nasrid palaces were available. I'd love to have seen the gardens at night, but the palaces at night are definitely well worth the trip!
and you do get to see a little of the gardens as you have to walk through them to get to the palaces.
the day ticket gives you access to the whole site, so you will have the chance to see the gardens then. our day visit took us about 6 hours by the way, so don't plan to do much else that day.
Hi annhig,
Thanks for increasing my excitement to see Alhambra!
I'd certainly visit in the night.
