Aix-in-Provence - can anyone recommend a moderate/reasonable hotel in the center of town?

Help - We need a moderate/reasonable hotel in or near the center of Aix-in-Provence. We will have a car and plan to stay one night and then on to the Riviera. We will be there early June.
Any suggestions would be very much appreciated. Thanks.

The Le Manoir!!! Eat out for breakfast. It's not very good there but eating in a cloister is unique. They have their own car parc-a plus!

I stayed at Hotel Paul about 10 years ago. Not bad for a one star place. 35 euro now. See http://www.aix-en-provence.com/hotelpaul/index.html

The Hotel Cezanne, about halfway between the train station and the Cours Mirabeau, which is the main drag in Aix-en-Provence:

Hotel de France, in Rue Espariat, which runs papallel to Cours Mirabeau. The hotel is about 50 metres from the big fountain at the end of Cour Mirabeau. 2* place.

Sebinah...a very nice establishment in Four Dolphin Square with stature of dolphins is guess what...The Four Dolphins Hotel (Hotel Qatre Dauphin) Lovely place, breakfast and nicely decorated rooms...parking is difficult but there is a covered garage a few blocks away. The hotel is easy walking distance to Cours Mirabeau...price should be in the $125 category.

Stu T. (Stayed there last in 2002..but have had several friends staying there since)

Tower: Thanks for the suggestion about Four Dolphin Hotel. Parking is essential to us. Do you know if they have parking? Also I have not been able to find an e-mail address for them. Can you help? Thanks

Sebinah...all I have is a fax and phone number

Fax..42386019
phone: 42381639

Address: 54 rue Roux Alpheran, 13100 Aix..these are all a few years old.

May have a parking situation by now, all they had then was a nearby covered three story garage.

Wish I could be more helpful.

My choice is right in town with its own private car parc, Le Manoir.
