Airfare to Portugal in November

Planning to go to Portugal from Newark in late Oct/early November. I've seen airfare nonstop flights for $550 but thought it might drop if I waited. I recently saw an article that suggested that this would be the best fare even in the off season. Any suggestion? I don't want to lose a lot of time flying via other cities (e.g. London, Munich) unless it is a lot cheaper.
