Air Lib Express anyone?

Has anyone flown Air Lib Express? We need to get from Paris to Rome and their prices are great, better than the Artesia de Nuit (night train to Rome). I wish Ryan Air would fly to Rome from Paris, unfortunately they go only to Milan. Thanks for your input!

There was a thread about Air Lib a few days ago, but it doesn't show up in Search.
The conclusion was that they're fine to fly with, cheap, but also in financial trouble. Two days ago they got their licence to operate extended till Jan 31, while negociating with potential investors.

Hi Joan,

I flew Air Lib Express this past summer roundtrip from Paris to Nice. No problems to report ( a delay, but other airline flights were delayed as well) and yes, there prices were low. I would fly them again. Have you tried easyjet.com? While in Paris I remember seeing an ad for them and they too, were reasonable, but I don't know about their itinerary. Good luck!

Although not yet solved, Air Lib's fate seems doomed, with the usual downward spiral: hearing that their tickets are likely not to be honoured, prospective customers don't book, hence making the airline's financial situation worse, etc. I am sorry to potentially add to this trend, but if I were you I would abstain. Also note that, since there is no Chapter 11 in French law, once the company's bust, it's bust, and you will get no compensation whatsoever for any ticket you might have bought.
