Air France Pilot Strike

Jump to last reply

I just posted this in Airlines forums as well, but thought the Europe forum I'd get more responses.

I just discovered that Air France pilots are on at least a partial strike, and it is affecting service between Paris and LAX and I also think NYC, among other destinations.

I'll be leaving in a few weeks from LAX on KLM, but will be returning on an AF flight from Paris, so needless to say, I'm a little concerned.

Is this also impacting intra-Europe flights, since I will be on one of those as well? Anyone have a clue as to the length of this strike other than what I'm reading in a few U.S. news articles?

I discovered this when I was doing a flight search on my Iphone App "Flight Track" to gauge current delays in take off and landing. Discovered flights had been "cancelled" and then searched the internet to find out why. Great App, by the way.
