Hi,
I'm thinking of trying afternoon tea at Fortnum and Mason or the Wolseley. Do people get dressed up for afternoon tea? I know the Ritz has a dress code.
Thanks!

Depends where you go, but i always think it feels more special if you dress up a bit. It's not required at the two places you are considering I believe. If it is they will mention it on their website....
I had tea at F&M last fall and the majority of people were nicely dressed, but not dressed up. If that makes sense. More North American business casual.
I've been to the Wolseley and I agree with the previous comment, people were nicely dressed but nothing too fancy...even if some of the people around were quite famous.
