advice on itinerary

Jump to last reply

we are flying into Munich on Friday morning, October 31st. (have seen munich before so don't plan on staying there long)
plan to then go to Salzburg- 2 days take daytrip to Haalstadt maybe Innsbruck
Monday morning travel up to Prague- maybe spend the night in Linz or should we go straight to Prague
Prague 2-3 days
night train to Budapest on Thursday (gives us 2 days there)
fly out late Saturday night to Helsinki
spend the night in Helsinki - stay near the city center. we land at 1030 and don't fly out until the next afternoon until 3:00 - any suggestions on what we should concentrate on since we will only have a 5-6 hours
home on Sunday November 9th
We can't change flying into Munich or flying out of Budapest thru Helsinki but we can adjust anything else that you have suggestions on. we love small towns (favorites are Brugge, Ghent, Florence, etc). we are just 2 friends and don't mind going at break night speed. we don't eat or drink a lot so we aren't worried about taking time for that we just want to make the most out of our time. we can rest when we get back home.
any advice in changes to this or additions of towns that are must see's please let me know. we have not been to any of these towns but Prague and Austria came highly recommended.
Also I read that Monday November 1st is a holiday - all saints day- will the trains still run and stores/restaurants still be open?
thank you for any advice you have. I really appreciate it!
Traci
