Planning to go to Cinque Terre in October and could fly into Genoa Airport and then proceed. I am looking for an easy way into the Cinque Terre from the Genoa airport. I am wondering if anyone has hired a private car or limo to go from this airport to Cinque Terre. Who did you use, what was the cost and how long is the trip? Considering this as opposed to the train purely for convenience reasons. At this point I don't have a particular town in mind for Cinque Terre for drop off just the area in general. Still in planning stages so your help would be appreciated. Thanks!
Advice on hiring a private car or limo from Genoa Airport to Cinque Terre

Most airports have transport options on their website. You can get some price quotes from the places listed once you decide on a CT town.

I can tell you that it is at least 75 euros to go as far as Rapallo, which is less than halfway.
Can you fly into Pisa? That way, you would have a very simple train option to La Spezia (there is a train station at Pisa airport), and from la Spezia it is a 10 minute train ride to the southern le Cinque Terre towns, or a much cheaper taxi ride from there.
But it is really not difficult to land in Genova and then get on a train. There is an airport shuttle bus that goes directly to both Principe and Brignole stations in Genova. Best station is Brignole, which is the second and last stop of the airport shuttle bus.
thanks! I don't have my flights yet and therefore the question. I will look into the Pisa idea also. Any other ideas, please pass them along.
This site give you lots of option on flight throughout Europe. http://www.whichbudget.com/
The bus from the airport to the train station is easy (I did it!) and then take the train as outlined above. Have fun!
It cost 75 euro in a large taxi (many await arriving passengers) from the airport to Camogli a few years ago. We were fortunate to find another couple to share the cost.
But, the CT is much further---depending on your location of choice. You really need to pick a location before people can help you. I would guess 150E to Monterosso.
Here are fare charts from 2 companies, to Monterosso:

Here is the official taxi rate chart, from 2009; there is an English translation on the page:

YOu could inquire of these firms as to price as well:

And where are you going in the Cinque Terre? In general, the train stations are more conveniently located. The road connecting the 5 towns is inland. You may have to lug that luggage down a steep hill.
Consider staying at another town on the train line to the CT but where the limo could drive right up to the hotel 's entrance. There are several such towns. I like Santa Margherita Ligure.
Plans are starting to take shape a bit more so here is the latest. Fly into Pisa. Somehow get to Manarola. I am looking at taking the train and leaving my luggage at the Pisa Train station from Thursday (arrival) to Saturday and then picking up a car in Pisa for the continuation of my trip. I still would be interested in hiring a car to take us to Manarola but I have to leave luggage somewhere because I don't want to lug it around.
