Would you please give some feedback ,suggestions on our itinerary must do's, favorites?
Sept. 8 arrive at Naples airport 10 a.m.( travel to Positano HOW?)
Sept. 8-13 Positano La Fenice (Day trips??)
Sept. 13-17 Rome Apartment near Piazza Fiori (How to get there from Positano?)
Sept. 17-21 Rental near Siena (Pick up rental car -where in Rome?Drive from Rome.)
Sept. 21-23 Cinque Terre (Town? Hotel??)Should we drop off rental car and take trains to CT and then to Venice or drive across and stop at one of the lakes?
Sept. 23-24 ????Lake Como or Maggiore or..?? or more time in Cinque Terra?
Sept.25-29 Venice apartment rental
Sept. 29 Fly out of Venice
We've been to Italy before, except Cinque Terra., but on a more rushed schedule( which everyone on here criticized, rightly so) , so we're trying to slow things down a bit.Thanks.
