Advice for Sept trip to Ireland?

Jump to last reply

So we're leaving for Ireland in a little over 2 weeks (Sept 3rd). Here's our itinerary:
Flying into Shannon and renting a car (EasyTourIreland - Hertz)
Day 1 & 2 Doolin (Doll's B & B)
Day 3 Kilkee (Bay View B & B)
Day 4 & 5 Portmagee (Waterfront B & B)
Day 6 & 7 Bantry (Dromcloc B & B)
Day 8 & 9 Dingle (yes, we're backtracking for the Tradfest in Dingle) (Brambury B & B)
Day 10 - Kinsale (Tierney's Guesthouse)
Day 11 & 12 - ?? Connemara? We're leaving 2 nights open - just in case we want to spend more time in an area that we've already visited if not, we'll head up to Connemara.
Day 13 - Ennis (Old Ground)
Day 14 - fly back from Shannon
We plan to hike, enjoy the people, the beer and music. Does anyone have any advice of things we should see/do around these places?. Any suggestions on what to do if outside activities are rained out would be appreciated too!
