I'm just starting to plan a trip to Paris in January 2013 and was wondering if anyone knows how long the city keeps their Christmas lights up? It's not my first time there but I specifically want to go at this time of the year to enjoy the christmas lights and decorations along the Champs Elysee etc but i heard somewhere that they don't keep them up for very long after Christmas is over?
Also, does anyone know when the official sales period starts in January in Paris? I can only be there for maybe 10 days so if i could somehow time it to hit both the Christmas lights and the sales period that would be great!
Thank you in advance
