Advice: 2 month trip to Paris
Hi, guys! I'll be in Paris this year and I wanted to know some of your advices. I'l be staying both September and October. I'll take a French course so from 8am to 1pm I'm not free.
Could you tell me how to make the most out of my visit?
Last year I spent 4 days in Paris (and obviously it wasn't enough).
Thanks!

I should have added that there is a book Parcs et Jardins de Paris ...à pied which offers 23 different walks through Paris, and while the theme is gardens, it includes what is to see in the streets connecting the green spaces.

We took the train to see Mont St. Michele and had a wonderful time there. We were the only people on the "English Tour" and saw some sights that are not normally part of the tour since there were only two of us.

Two months in Paris! Wow, how great. I assume you have weekends off. You could take off at 1pm on a Friday and return late Sunday night and take some wonderful weekend trips to areas surrounding Paris: Normandy, Loire, Burgundy etc. you could even pop over to London...so many choices, and only two months to do it all in. Have fun!!!

I would go to Reims and/or Epernay for a day. The cathedral there is beautiful and sample the champagne.
In the Loire, go to Chenonceau.
Fontainebleu and Versailles are also very close to Paris. A half day at Giverny to see Monet's gardens.
The Musee Rodin is very nice.
I haven't been yet, but plan to go Ste Chapelle...always gets great comments by other posters. I also plan to hit the L'Orangerie on my upcoming visit.

Hi G,
>from 8am to 1pm I'm not free.
What do you charge from 13:00 to 02:00?
Rim shot. Bang.
But seriously folks......
Aside from sitting in cafes, sipping wine and nibbling hors d'oeuvres, these might help
