Address for Cafe Poliziano - Montepulciano?

OK, another detail! Just made plans to meet for lunch with some friends in Montepulciano. Does anyone know the actual address for Cafe Poliziano? Any days closed?

Mille grazie!

If there isn't an address on their website (if there is one) and if no one else has it, here's directions: If you start walking uphill from the bottom/carpark of Monte. just look on your lefthand side of the road as you walk up and it is there. If there are just four of you, you can request the little outside porch where you can get wonderful views as you dine. Have fun.

Addresses in Montepulciano? Maybe, but I bet if you gave someone an address they'd shrug. Meanwhile enter the city from any direction (probably at the main gate at the bottom) and ask anyone where Cafe Poliziano is, and they will direct you right to it.

You guys are the best! My friends asked for one and I said I'd get on it.

Grazie!

Halfway, maybe two-thirds of the way, up the hill on your left, as you travel up the street from the bus station to Piazza Grande. Please have a caffe macchiato and some tiramisu for me while you're there.

Addresses? We don't need no steenking addresses!

On the way up the hill to Cafe Poliziano, on the right-hand side is a very small gelato shop -- I just remember it is right across the street from a butcher shop. It had the best gelato we had in all of Tuscany. Wish we could have tried them all. It was even better than the one everyone raves about in Orvieto across the plaza from the Doumo -- My wife's opinion.

Cafe Poliziano may have a very nice lunch, but they had the worst gelato we had tasted. Stop at the shop down the street if you can find or recognize it.

I think they are more noted for their pastries and light lunches than gelato.

I don't know about addresses in Montepulciano either, either ask or look on the left like some of us have said.

Thanks again everyone! I certainly won't pass up the gelatto recommendation. Doesn't matter how long it takes to find!

I was in Montepulciano once before, briefly. Quite a driving adventure. Very steep.

Just 3 days to go! Ciao!
