Adalusia - Sevilla Cordoba Ronda Granada Malaga
Need help and can't decide. I have 7 nights to spare and coming from Barcelona - what would be the best route to take and what should I skip? Departure Malaga.
Should I drop off cordoba along the way from Barcelona (if there is drop off luggage at railstation for the day) arrive in afternoon like 1:30pm/spend half day there then train to sevilla say 7pm and stay there 4 nights (or just go straight to sevilla and do day trip out to cordoba one of those days). Next, then get a car drive down (or bus -contemplating) to Ronda (spend half day there) then head Malaga for 3 nights (meaning I skip out Granada?).
OR
from Barcelona - straight to sevilla 3 nights (skip cordoba) - to go Granada 1 nights - 3 nights Malaga? meaning I miss out ronda.
I know we all like to see 'must sees' but at the same time I want it to be relaxing and enjoyable. Just like advice what others have would do/ have done and would consider to skip out (and why).
We are open to seeing anything: love history/culture/museums/art/ gardens and parks/ people and good food!.
Thanks
Basically I'm having a tough time figuring out what to fit in and what to skip.
I'm thinking

The main reasons for going to Granada are the Alhambra and El Albaizín, the city’s ancient Islamic quarter, but there is also the Cathedral and Capilla Real, Monasterios de la Cartuja and San Jerónimo and Sacromonte. There is the Museo Arqueológico, El Bañuelo, the Moorish baths, and the foundation-museum Fundación Rodríguez-Acosta on the Alhambra hill overlooking the city. And if you're into literary history, you can visit the Casa Museo Federico García Lorca. Lorca was assassinated by Franco's Falagist followers in the opening days of the Spanish Civil War.
As you can see, you can easily spend two to three days exploring Granada and not see it all.
I would fly from Barcelona to Granada, then head for Sevilla (bus or train), before finally heading down to Malaga by way of Ronda. If you spend three nights in Sevilla, you'll have the option of visiting Cordoba for the day.

I'd do 3 nights Seville, 2 Granada, 1 Ronda, 1 Malaga. You could possibly do Cordoba as a day trip from Seville if once you get there you can tear yourself away for a day. You wouldn't have to decide till you got there. They are all great but if something has to go it would be Cordoba.

I haven't been to Ronda or Malaga yet so hard to put the full itinerary together but I agree with Isabel's start of 3 nights Seville, 2 Granada. I think best to try and do Cordoba as a possible daytrip from Seville. I would not recommend skipping Granada but one of the smaller cities - Cordoba or Ronda. We loved Cordoba, but as I mentioned, haven't been to Ronda so can't compare.
Here is a link to my trip report along with pictures. We did 2 nights Granada, 2 nights Cordoba and 4 nights Seville.

Thanks for all your input, I think I am getting closer to final itinerary; most likely 3 nights Seville and 2 nights Granada.
In Granada, where is the best areas to stay?
Thank you again for your advice.
