Accomodations near Dublin Airport

My husband and I want to stay close to the airport on our last night as we leave at 2:00 the next day. Any suggestions? I would like our last night to be nice, but not extravagant. I also don't want to stay at a Holiday Inn type place either. Any cute towns nearby that have a restaurant, pub, and a b&b?

TIA!

We stayed at the Evergreen B&B in Swords near the airport a couple of years ago and enjoyed it. Took a taxi to the airport.
They have a website.

Swords would definitely be a good option.

Swords or Malahide. Swords is a town just beside the airport and has shops, reataurants and pubs for a nice last night. Also Malahide may not be too far off and is on the sea. It's a very "cute" town and has everything in a village atmosphere.

Definitely go into Swords for a hotel. We stayed at the Holiday Inn a week ago because I couldn't remember from previous trips just how close any place would be to the airport. AWFUL Holiday Inn!! And the Dublin airport is so easy to maneuver in and out of you should have no problem making your flight easily--after a sleep in!

Have a great trip!

Thanks for the info!

I checked out Evergreen . . . seems nice. We are definitely considering it. Any others out there? I am having trouble finding a resource for Swords online. Any one have one?

I stayed at Holly Tree House in Swords in 2000. Very nice, resonably priced B&B - on the outskirts of town so it is probably the closest to the airport - about 1/2 mile away. Yet I don't remember hearing any plane noise.

I sent an inquiry to Evergreen Guesthouse in Malahide . . . highly recommended on trip advisor and positive reviews here. We will probably book with them if they have availability.
