Accommodation very near Paddington Station

We are 7 women staying in London for 2 days and want accommodation as close to Paddington station as possible as we have a late flight out. Any suggestions?

I haven't stayed near Paddington but I have a long list of hotels in the area when I was searching this year. I can give you a few names to start out but if you want more email me. [email protected]

Rhodes Hotel, Rose Court, Merlyn Court,
Hyde Park Radnor, Allandale, Kingsway Hotel, Abbey Court, Mitre House, Best Western Paddington.
Hope this helps some. Sorry I can't comment on them.

In 2002 a friend of mine stayed here:

www.royalnorfolkhotel.co.uk

It was for the same reasons. She wanted a hotel close to the Heathrow Express for an early departure.

She thought it was fine as a hotel. Nothing specatacular but a decent hotel at a good price.

There is nothing closer than the Hilton London Paddington located above the station.

This is a flat that I had booked, then canceled, so I can't speak for it personally. It is across from the Best Western Paddington, and you can have continental breakfast over there if you choose. Anyway, the price was good and VERY close to Paddington! http://www.central-london-apartments...apartments.htm

The Quality Hotel Paddington is less than 5 minutes' walk from the platform. It's perfectly Ok, whilst nothing to write home about.

Clean and convenient- and not too dear.

I have stayed at Hilton London Metropole, which is a couple blocks away from Paddington station. It would be cheaper than the Hilton Paddington.

We have stayed at the Abbey Court, which is on Sussex Gardens, a five-minute walk south of the station. Clean and quiet, if a little small. No complaints.

Double room £74
Continental breakfast included
Full English breakfast £3

Hi - we stayed at the Columbia Hotel at Lancaster Gate (Paddington). About a 10 minute walk (dragging suitcases) from Paddington Station. You can get closer but we thought this was very good value for money for a well located hotel.

The rooms had quite large bathrooms and the lounge downstairs was very pleasant to sit around and write postcards. The cost was very reasonable.

There is a whole group of hotels near Paddington Station - the "Hyde Park Hotel" group. Reasonably priced - very, in fact - and OK quality, they include the Abbey Court and the Westpoint, both in Sussex Gardens, and the Cardiff in Norfolk Square.
