abruzzo- where to go from here

Jump to last reply

my wife and i are planning a trip to Abruzzo sometime next year- we have about 2 weeks. the people we're staying with will be dropping us at the rome airport after 7 days
& we were wondering what would be a great place to go for the rest of our holiday. we've been to florence (which we adore) and thought maybe naples? or even greece.
also can someone tell me if it's best to travel there in the fall or the spring. we really don't enjoy crowds and don't mind if some things are closed as they are in florence for the winter.
i look forward to hearing your comments and appreciate your help
