I bought AA tickets and they are combined with an ICE train ticket to Munich. I arrive at 7:20 am but the train I have tickets for doesn't leave until 12:54pm. I don't have seat reservations. Does anyone know about these kind of combined tickets (AA and De Bahn) and if the train times can be changed?
AA and German train tickets -can I change the time on the ICE train?

When I did a Lufthansa/ICE combined ticket, I was told I cannot take a different train. I think there are scheduled ICE trains that "meet" particular flights (at least for Lufthansa). Even if I had been able to take an earlier train, my checked-through luggage would have arrived on the original scheduled train. Plus, I think the airline and DBahn try to allow enough transit time in case of delays, etc. I have always had to wait for at least an hour for the train after my flight arrival.
I think you should phone Euraide in Florida, as they have off8ices in Munich and Berlin, and work as agents for German Rail, 941/480-1555, site http://www.euraide.com/. If they cannot help, please phone Budget Europe Travel Service, 800-441-9413 or 800-441-2387, site http://www.budgeteuropetravel.com/
I guess you can change the train time, but Euraide will know.

Thank you for the reply. I was hoping... According to the AA website, you do not check your bags through when you fly with them, you carry them on the train with you. Guess I will double-check on the trains when I get to Frankfurt, just in case.
Thanks Ben-I will call them tomorrow! It would help me plan sightseeing for the day if I knew.
