A week around Nice/Cannes

Hi Fodors' friends- we are a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 teens) and would like advice on an itinerary / where all to visit during a week in the South of France. We are based in a small town of Grasse (near Fayenze) and have a car to drive around.
We will be there between 17 June- 24 June 2013.
Would really appreciate your suggestions on where all to go by car/train etc. We are also open to spending a night during the week somewhere around closeby.
Also, I am a cyclist! Any suggestions for any great routes around that area and where I could rent a good road bike?
Thanks
