Thank you for the wonderful photos! I appreciated the captions too. We stopped in Beuvron-en-Auge as well and I have the same photo of the market square on my office wall.

I also enjoyed the info about the remnants of Paris' city wall.

We stayed at an apartment at rue du louvre and etienne marcel and never saw (or noticed) the wall structures in your photos. We'll have to go back and take a better look.
