A follow-up to my earlier question on the Gorges du Verdon

Following up on my earlier post about the Gorges du Verdon, I have one quick question. If we start at the Moustiers end and stay on the D 952, ignoring the Route des Cretes, we will end up at Point Sublime, near Rougon. Is it possible to turn around at this point, having gotten a taste of the Gorge and visited a couple of beautiful overlooks, and return to Moustiers instead of going on to Castellane via the D 952, which will put us about two hours from Cotignac?

Merci encore.
