A family of 4 - 4 days in Switzerland

Jump to last reply

Need help planning and estimating the best way to spend 4 days in Switzerland, between Zurich, Lucerne and Montreux.

2 Adults, 1 kid - 16, 1 kid - 12 - what is the best pass? Do they check proof of age when validating the rail pass?

Arriving into Zurich @6:30am on a Sat morning
Should we head to Montreux on the GoldenPass line right away, or see Zurich and go to Lucerne on the day?

Looks like the hotels have an issue accommodating a family of 4 ! Any suggestions on decent places to stay?

Any help will be appreciated.

thanks
