9 nights itinerary help!

My husband and I are travelling to Spain in the first week of August for 9 nights, flying in and out of Barcelona. We need help planning an itinerary as this is our first time. We would like to see Seville, Cordoba and Granada as those seem to be the most highly recommended spots. But I'm at a disadvantage since we are flying in and out of Barcelona and unfortunately, I can't change those flights. We also really like being close to the beach and small town feel. I have heard great things about Marbella, Nerja and Almunecar. We are planning to skip Madrid on this trip. So much to see and such little time!
Would it make sense to spend a few days in Barcelona, then fly to Granada and spend a day there and then continue on to the coastal towns? What is the best mode of transport if we are trying to cover Marbella, Nerja and Almunecar? And connectivity back to Barcelona?
Any help will be greatly appreciated!
