7 nights Dubrovnik, Hvar, Split what day trips are not to be missed?

Jump to last reply

Hi… We have a 3 week trip planned to Croatia Sept 21 - Oct 11, landing in DBV Sept 22. Originally we had an itinerary that had us in DBV for 5 nights of which we had a whole list of possible day trips planned such as Montenegro, Ston and Mali Ston, vineyards of Peljesac and the oyster shack, Kotor, Centinje, as well as a boat tour, the walls, the monastery, Mount 3rd… and then to Hvar for 3 nights including a hike to the fort, a boat ride through the grottos a boat to St. Klements, and then maybe Stari Gfrad (by bus?) and Tvrdalj, fish feast…
But due to 2 members of our group finding out they are leaving us after 7 nights, unable to continue on, I am wondering how to modify this itinerary so that we all get the most we can out of DBV and Hvar and also hoping that we can accompany them to Split the night before their flight and at least be able to do something of interest maybe in Trogir or Split on Sept 28th.
We have not secured lodging yet anywhere, and I know it's getting (or is) already quite late for this but am still hopeful that things will work out.
Any suggestions on what to do what not to do, how long to stay or anything will be very helpful. They do have their flights in with us and have made them out of Split to Rome and we had a whole itinerary worked out which you may find by doing a search under my name or I can try to post a link to it for you if I get a moment, thanks again for your excellent advice fodorites!
