7 days in Ireland

Thank you for any suggestion you might give us, :) we are going to Ireland for seven days in July , flying in from England. We would like to see as much as possible, we like to walk and we are renting a car.

    Arriving from the UK

    Standard 7 day itinerary for Ireland given a flight into Cork.

    Land Cork Night 1 Cork, Blarney is a bus ride out from the city no need to pay for a tour sleep Cork, Blarney, Cobh or Kinsale

    Day 2, Rent a car if you haven't already and head to Killarney see Killarney local options, National Park, Muckross house/gardens Gap of Dunloe Jaunting cart ride Cathedral lots of options

    Day 3, Ring of Kerry including the Skellig Ring or drive the Beara Peninsula.

    Day 4, (1) Leave Killarney and drive the Dingle figure of eight ending with the night in Adare, Ennis, or on the coast Kilkee (cross the Shannon by ferry rather than tunnel)

    Day 4, (2) Head from Killarney straight to Galway call into a couple of the W B Yeats connections and Kilmacduagh by Gort on the way up.

    Day 5, (1) Tour Cliffs of Moher and Burren on the way up to a night in Galway.

    Day 5, (2) Tour Connemara including Kylemore Abbey and many other options, or Inis Mor Aran Isle tour.

    Day 6, Head to Dublin, Possible calls the Distilleries, Clonmacnoise and or Belvedere House. Night in Dublin

    Day 7, Either hopper bus round Dublin or a tour, either Newgrange and Boyne to the North or Glendalough and Wicklow mountains to the South

    Day 8 Departure.
