4 August days in Rome in August with 2 children (11 and 14 years old)


Tuesday
Arrive Rome 10:30 am
Go to hotel, try and check in room or just leave bags
Walk + check out area
Have lunch
Time Elevator?
Walk back to hotel to check in and rest
Dinner near hotel

Wednesday
Get to Coliseum early for Walks of Italy tour at 8:30 am
After tour get lunch
San Pietro in Vincoli
Back to hotel to relax
Dinner near Piazza Navona or Campo de Fiori
Walk to Trevi Fountain

Thursday
Start early in Campo de Fiori, check out market
Tour the Jewish Ghetto and synagogue
Lunch
Palazzo Valentini at 1:30 for tour
Back to hotel for relax
Wander into Trastevere
Dinner in Trastevere


Friday
Borghese Gardens – early bike ride
Tour the Borghese Gallery at 11:00 am – 1:00 pm
Lunch
See Spanish Steps
Go to Capuchin Crypt (opens at 3 pm)
Shopping time
Dinner

Any dining suggestions are appreciated as well of course.
