4 days in London

Jump to last reply

We've just finished a 4 day trip to London ,England and I wanted to reach out with a two tips we discovered for anyone visiting London

Firstly, on our first day we heard from our B&B owner about this English website www.local-planet.squarespace.com - who has day guides by Londoners.
We were unsure whether to use them at first however having done it I can say the guides were worth a billion bucks!

We used these 4 day guides during our trip, which we loved:
For a day of covering the big sights: www.local-planet.squarespace.com/product-1/lenas-west-london-highlights-and-special-places-to-eat
For a day seeing old English houses: www.local-planet.squarespace.com/product-1/nicks-richmond-greenery-architecture-and-great-food
For a day of impressive art: www.local-planet.squarespace.com/product-1/big-group-1-week
For fabulous English food and markets: www.local-planet.squarespace.com/product-1/tommys-foodie-and-market-tour

Secondly, we found London transport confusing at first as it's hard to know when to take the bus or tube and we couldn't find any bus maps! Try https://tfl.gov.uk/plan-a-journey/ to plan any journey and work out the best/quickest way

Hope you have a great trip!
