3 Day Switzerland Itinerary - Need Suggestions

My family and I will be spending 3 full days in Switzerland in late May. We will be staying in Lucerne and have come up with the following itinerary. I am looking for comments and suggestions about things to do in the places we will be traveling. These days are in no particular order, as much of that will depend on weather.

Day 1:
- Morning – Golden Roundtrip from Lucerne to Mt. Pilatus. (will take boat, train, & gondola)
- Afternoon – Explore Lucerne. Anything not listed in the major guidebooks worth seeing on a walking tour?
- Restaurant suggestions for lunch and dinner in Lucerne / Pilatus?

Day 2:
- Golden Pass Train to Lauterbrunnen and Murren. After researching, these are the two cities we have chosen in the Bernese Oberland. Good choice?
- What should we do / see in Lauterbrunnen and Murren? I have read about the areas but I know we cannot do it all. We are not big hikers but enjoy beautiful scenery and quaint towns. What can we not miss?
- Restaurant suggestions in this area?

Day 3:
- I am still a bit confused about what to do on the third day. Original thoughts were to take a cruise around Lake Lucerne. We will be on the lake when we go to Mt. Pilatus, so I don’t know if we need to do more lake time. Thoughts? If so, at what stops should we get off to see different sites around the lake?
- Another idea was to go to Mt. Titlus. I’ve read that it is further in the Alps than Pilatus. Should we do both Pilatus and Titlus?
- Other places I have considered are Gruyere and Jungfrau. I realize that Jungfrau is also located in the Bernese Oberland but I’m not sure that time would allow for all that we have planned in one day.

Thank you very much for your help!

Day 1 sounds very good to me. I guess all the major attractions are mentioned in guidebooks, there's probably nothing to add. Sorry, no recommendations for restaurants.

Day2: I'd go up to Mt. Schilthorn. The views are breathtaking and this would top Mt. Titlis which you are thinking about on day 3, so you can scratch this one from your list. I'd head up to Mürren from Lauterbrunnen via Grütschalp. Upon arrival in Mürren stroll through the village, the station for Schilthorn is at the other end of the village. Coming down from Schilthorn go all the way to Stechelberg by cable car, hop on the Postbus and get off at the Trümmelbach waterfalls. Explore them, then walk or take another Postbus to Lauterbrunnen. Back to Lucerne.

Restaurant suggestions ... lunch anywhere in Mürren or on top of Schilthorn (time of day depending). You cannot really go wrong. Pick something with a view. For dinner consider Hotel Oberland in Lauterbrunnen.

Day 3: The boat ride to Alpnachstad (for Mt. Pilatus cog train) doesn't cover much of the lake. Really, it's just a short hop over. A full lake cruise would be very different. The most scenic part of Lake Lucerne is from Brunnen to Flüelen (Urner See/Lake Uri). You could get off the steamer e.g. in Weggis or Brunnen. If in Weggis, check if you have time to take the cable car up to Rigi-Kaltbad, maybe from there the cog-train up to the summit and/or down to Vitznau where you can hop on the steamer again. To save time you can get off the steamer in Flüelen and go back by train to Lucerne.

Gruyeres is a bit too far IMO.

Great idea to go to Lucerne and Mt Pilatus.
Have you thought of getting the train down to the Lakes area, to Lugarno? We had a great day there with a ferry around the lake which also borders Italy.Interesting trip on the train too.
Interlaken or Lauterbrunnen also good idea.
Have fun - The "Lion" sculpture is wonderful in Lucerne and just wandering all around, over bridges, into different squares.
