Hi,
This may be a crazy itinerary - We plan on arriving in Rimini around 11:30 a.m. and taking the bus to San Marino. The next day between 2 - 4 we are taking the bus back to Rimini and heading to Florence. This is in December when the days are short.
Is this enough time to spend?
I know the first time I went to Venice we were there for a total of 28 hours and had a blast - so I'm thinking we will have enough in San Marino.
Let me know what you think. Any quick tips about the area?
Thanks,
jpm

JPM...24 hours is more than enough. We were there last April 1st for about a half day (driving)...it's a very clean, upscale and beautiful setting, high on top of a mountain, with fabulous views. En route from Umbia toi Ancona to catch a ferry to Croatia, luckily, we timed our visit to coincide with the Investiture of the "President"...a very colorful ceremony, bands playing, the full "army" and "police" forces out in full regalia...great photo ops. It was also my 49th country, so we got to make a sign with the number "49" on it, and stand in front of the "Welcome to San Marino" sign...what you will do for 24 hours?...I dunno...we had a very lovely lunch at one of the several restaurants on the main square.
